Based on my own inward feelings and early childhood battle with accepting my homosexual identity, and trying many times to vehemently reject it without any success, I have always felt that being homosexual was something that I was born into. Certainly, I would never have chosen to be something so discriminated against and misunderstood; something so difficult to be as we maneuver in this world of prejudice and antipathy. But according to many, especially some religious Bible thumpers, the feelings, the act, and the lifestyle of being homosexual is a sin in the eyes of God, and a choice of debauchery that will send us all to hell.
