I just wanted to take this time to express uber gratitude to my partner, Dammeon, for being so thoughtful last week during spring break. He so graciously surprised me everyday with either a present, an event or a romantic evening all in celebration of his love for me. Initially, we were supposed to travel that week, but I opted not to take the vacation time. So on Monday he sent to my office a bouquet of flowers and a balloon with a note that read: "Here is your spring break madness. Although we couldn't travel anywhere, we can make the best of our love in Atlanta." Then Tuesday I came home to dinner and romance. Wednesday he surprised me with a trip to the rollerskating rink. Thursday was a repeat of Tuesday with more dinner and romance. And Friday he threw a surprise party for me all in the name of love. It was beautiful. I want to thank everyone who attended and all that helped him set it up.
Dammeon has always shown me such awesome generosity and consideration when it comes to loving me, and I wouldn't trade him in, regardless of his flaws. Although honoring him in this little blog post doesn't amount to all he did for me, I still wanted to mention it to the world because I never want it to seem as if I'm taking his munificence for granted. If I could, I would give him anything he asks for. I'm working hard to make that dream come true.
